If you’re already struggling to keep resolutions or haven’t quite set your goals for 2018 yet don’t panic. We’ve rounded up three of the best workshops taking place around the country this weekend, all of which focus on setting goals and keeping resolutions.
So that’s it, there’s no reason this shouldn’t be your most productive year yet. Right?
Set & Achieve Successful Goals for 2018 @ The Imperial Hotel, Cork
Join results coach and Thinking Into Results facilitator Geraldine O’Brien to set and achieve your goals for 2018. Instead of setting muddy resolutions and unrealistic goals, Geraldine will help all students become clear about what they want. Before helping them set out a course of action to ensure it becomes a reality. If you feel stuck in your current situation, this is the workshop for you as it combines teachings on habits, visualisation and confidence. Geraldine uses a quote from Albert Einstein to explain the workshop: “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when making them.” Isn’t that the truth!
Saturday, 13 January from 10am – 2.30pm, priced at €63.32. Bookings can be made here
The Ultimate Guide to Keeping Your Health Resolutions in 2018 @ Urban Health, Ranelagh
Forget restrictive diets and limiting lifestyles, this workshop is about finding balance through health. Join acupuncturist Joanne Burke as she encourages students to find their own definition of wellness and then work within that perimeter. At this point, Joanne will help you set sustainable goals and find three daily changes that will make a real difference. This workshop is about finding real solutions to your health concerns. And working within your own lifestyle to bring about real change.
Sunday, 14 January from 2.30pm – 4pm, priced at €5. Bookings can be made here
New Year Goal Setting Workshop @ The Log Cabin, Bansha
This workshop gives students the space and time to reflect on what you would like to achieve in 2018 before encouraging the setting of goals. Learn to match your goals with different areas of your life, including health, finances, family, work, love and socially. Hosted by CBT counsellor Donna Breen, the workshop uses CBT principles to help people recognise areas in which they may be holding themselves back. The workshop will also include time to make your own vision board to match your goals and map out how you see yourself achieving these goals in 2018.
Sunday, 14 January from 12pm – 3pm, priced at €37.19. Bookings can be made here
